Seascapes - 12th April
Please note this workshop is taking place at The Cow Shed, 10.30am - 4pm
Rough, Calm, Warm, Moonlit or full of life - there are many different ways we can choose to paint the sea and many different experiences we can choose to convey.
In this workshop we’ll cover some of the basics, such as what colour is the sea?
Practice some colour mixing and create a “Seascape” with a brush or a painting knife in this workshop.
Please note:
Please add tickets for multiple people to your basket one at a time. This allows you to enter the attendees’ individual information to the attendee form.
This form will open when you click ‘Book this Workshop’ below.
Once you have filled in your attendee form and added your workshops to your basket you will need to pay via the small cart button in the top right hand corner of your screen.

The Workshop
An Acrylic paint, Seascape painting workshop
10.30am - 4pm
Enjoy a few hours to yourself, gift a friend some “Me Time” or come along as a group and create a “Seascape” to hang on the wall.
We’ll start the session off with an hour of discussion as well as colour and mark making and paint layering experiments.
We’ll consider how to make water look deep, cold, warm, scary and inviting.
Use reference materials from home (such as holiday photographs) and create a “Seascape” painting to take home and keep.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring lunch with you, we do have access to a fridge.
Information and a full kit list will be sent prior to your workshop.
If you are new to painting and missing some of the items you need please don’t worry, get in touch as I have plenty of equipment that can be borrowed. We’ll also tackle some of the “Mood” possibilities and consider how to convey a particular feeling in our seascape.
